Haystacks Calhounian New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, despite his bridge woes, has been relatively savvy when it comes to social media during his time in office.  That is, if you consider having a taxpayer-funded videographer pop up his Rock-like verbal smackdowns on Garden State residents at town hall meetings “savvy.”
News broke last night that the King Kong Bundy-sized chief executive of the state released a video where he looked to squash pension reform critics like they were Special Delivery Jones at Wrestlemania, using former Nation of Domination militant Dwayne Johnson.
Per NJ.com:

The governor’s office spliced some shots of the one of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s movies in the video that featured Hollywood-movie explosions and clips of Christie talking about pension reform.

Accoring to WNYC’s Matt Katz, the Rock asked not to be in the video. Beyond that, the governor’s office has been silent on the quick removal.
Prior to the removal, MyFoxPhilly noted:

The movie-trailer-style video posted to Christie’s YouTube channel says it’s from “Statehouse Studios” – complete with a screen indicating it’s “Rated R For Reform.” It uses dramatic music, movie footage and language as well as some guest appearance from actor and wrestler Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to portray the battle in epic terms.

Unnamed sources claimed Christie smelled what he Rock was cooking, and unsurprisingly couldn’t help himself.
